The 1833 Factory Act: A Problem Solved?

Suggested activities:

  • Design a poster to campaign against, or for, child labour in the factories.
  • Have a class debate on child labour with half of the class arguing for child labour. There is plenty of material which could be used in preparation for such a debate at the Spartacus web site:
